Jamming to the BluesPlaying the BluesJust Loving the Blues

Hello Fellow Musician,

Do you want to improve your improvisation?

Do you want to be able to play along to the internets’ finest Blues Backing/Jam Tracks?

Have you tried to find decent Blues Backing Tracks, but most of the stuff that’s out there sucks!?

Do you play the guitar, bass, drums, harp, keys, horns or any other instrument and want to jam to professionally recorded and produced  Blues Backing Tracks that are long, that groove, that do not get boring and will really bring the best out in your playing?

Testimonial:(100% real)

Hey Johnny L. ~ your tracks are GREAT !!!!! There are so many folks who would pick these up if they knew they were out there and could have a snippet to listen to on your website. It is so tasteful, you put in just enough

imaM1ll1ona1re

"fancy stuff" to tease the listener to "go for it" without making them feel self conscious if they flub up cause they think someone is looking over their shoulder. Outstanding. I'm in line to buy any future tracks along this line cause i love the LONG cuts that let you really dig in and have fun .....your efforts are appreciated .... chuck

Do you LOVE listening to and playing the Blues?

Well, I’d like to thank you for your interest in BluesBackingTracks.com, and let you know, you’re on the right page!

My name is Johnny London and I'm a Music Teacher, Mentor and Producer (and recently, a new father too!) I run 'The London School of Guitar' in Salt Lake City and have nearly 100 students on my roster. I have been playing guitar, piano, drums and making music now for 20 years, I have a long track record of performing, writing and producing, and as a teacher I've inspired and taught hundreds of other musicians to really excel in their chosen instruments.

First off, I created the Jam tracks as tools for the improvement of my students' improvisation. I, and my other teachers, use the tracks in our lessons to aid in fretboard development and improvisatory awareness. The backing tracks work really well as a backdrop for experimentation and progress, so it was only natural that one of my students said that I should start selling them to other musicians, so I started selling the tracks on CD to people all over America. These tracks have gone on from helping my students to improving the improvisation of people all over America (and now all over the world!) Thousands of people are now jamming to these tracks, and loving every minute of it!

As you can imagine, I'm pretty stoked about that, as at my core is the desire to help other people realise and nurture their inner creative voice that is just waiting to pour out through improvising on their instruments. And when you play to these Backing Tracks – you will have a chance to really enhance your improvisatory ability on your instrument.

You may think that sounds a little cheesy, but improvisation is the key to unlocking the real development and enjoyment you can experience as a musician.

My Blues Backing Tracks are great for ALL MUSICIANS who want to improvise to some Smokin' Blues. These Backing tracks are not just for guitarists - check out some of the links in the table below to hear other musicians jamming to them. Also, the tracks are all played by real, professional musicians, there are no crappy midi sounds that seem to let down other jam tracks! The takes are long and average at over 10 minutes per track, so this isn't cut-and-paste lifeless music, the tracks groove and change, and swell, breakdown and are kept interesting throughout - you really will feel like you're jamming with other musicians right there in the room with you! The Average track length is OVER 20 minutes, which makes them perfect for you to come up with some incredible solos over!

Listed in the table below are the Blues Backing Tracks that I've written and produced with explanations, tempi, lengths and keys. There are links to download examples of some solos that me or my students have recorded as well!

Testimonial: (100% real)

As an intermediate guitarist who spends most of his practice time alone, I find good backing tracks extremely helpful. Unfortunately, many of the backing tracks I've found are low-quality, often recorded without any actual guitars, and use very generic chords and riffs. Listening to these for hours on end while you improvise can be tiring rather than inspiring.

Johnny London's Blues Backing Tracks are different - they all sound like real music recorded in a studio, and they're fun to listen to even if you're not playing along. They use interesting chords, modes, and riffs to avoid sounding like generic backing tracks, and come in a variety of styles and keys. Each track is over 20 minutes long, so you have plenty of time to get into the groove and figure out what to
play, but they never get repetitive or boring. Whenever guitar practice seems tedious, I start one of these tracks, and moments later I'm having fun trying out new riffs and melodies.

If you're looking for quality tracks for practice, or starting points for composing your own music, you won't find anything better than Johnny London's Blues Backing Tracks. (emphasis added)

Johnny

I've got to admit, I was pretty skeptical about your tracks in the beginning, but that was before I listened to them, bought them (I have Pony Express in F, Blues Funk in E and the Santana Blues in G) and started jamming to them!

I LOVE YOUR BACKING TRACKS!

I have spent hours (and I really mean HOURS) playing to these tracks - I love the 'Pony Express' - I have so much fun playing to it!! I also really love the Blues Funk in E - great for me as a guitarist...
I have seen a marked improvement in my playing as well - I can really let go and enjoy myself because the tracks are so long - which I think was the reason I bought them in the first place, but I'd like to say thank you, I am telling my musician friends about your tracks as well....

(Feel free to use this testimonial)

Thanks again:
