My
name is Johnny London and I'm a Music Teacher, Mentor
and Producer (and recently, a new father too!) I run 'The London School
of Guitar' in
Salt Lake City and have nearly 100 students on my roster. I have been
playing guitar, piano, drums and making music now for 20 years, I have
a long track record of performing, writing and producing, and as a
teacher I've inspired and taught hundreds of other musicians to really
excel in their chosen instruments.
First off, I created the Jam tracks as tools for
the improvement of my students' improvisation. I, and my other
teachers, use
the tracks in our lessons to aid in fretboard development and
improvisatory awareness.
The backing tracks work really well as a backdrop for experimentation
and
progress, so it was only natural that one of my students said that I
should
start selling them to other musicians, so I started selling the tracks
on CD to people all over America. These tracks have
